Starr’s passion involves the study of Eastern Medicine and its ability to treat the individual holistically. She brings deep personal understanding and compassion to help her patients on their healing journey. Starr focuses on solving the patient’s root cause of ailment, rather than just the symptoms. She accomplishes this with a holistic approach that accounts for the emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness of the patient.
Starr’s love of sports encouraged her to help injured athletes return to their favorite sport as soon as possible. During her graduate study, she specialized in sports medicine, having the privilege of treating Division 1 athletes at University of Colorado-Boulder. Her experience treating CU skiers, cross-country runners, volleyball players, and football players greatly increased her understanding of various injuries that commonly afflict athletes, and appropriate methods of treatment.
